INSULATION TAPES
TERAOKA’s insulation tapes are made of such base materials as paper, cloth, plastic film, etc. and bonding agents such as rubber, acrylic, and silicone. The heat resistance range: Class Y for 90°C to Class H for 180°C. Paper based tapes allow easy processing and varnish impregnation for coils, while cloth base tapes are readily applicable to curved or rough surfaces and high varnish impregnation. Film based tapes are extremely thin, up to 20 microns, and are ideal for use as insulators. Another type, an epoxy prepregnated tape, hardens when heated in a thermosetting process, making it an excellent sealing and insulating material
